I have always believed a story speaks to you in a way no advertising ever could. That's why it's so important that the essence of any piece of copy remains true to the brand's story. Whether it's an article in a Newsletter, or a video telling potential customers the process of a service, that the brand's authority is never lost.
It's why I started Wink's Craft Bakery, to share my love of food and fellowship with my community. Instead of a huge marketing budget, I used my scrappy antics and relentless optimism to market and tell my story like no other bakery has. When my business needed to stand out, I knew exactly what to do.
It's why I've continued my meaningful work at Our Saviour's UCC. I helped Pastor Mundell brand his entire online persona, and helped grow his YouTube channel to reach over 6,000 people across the globe, in 6 different countries. Only through authentic pieces of content can you achieve that reach.
It's why I helped a local small business, A to Z Quality Fencing, tell their authentic story. Helping the community through their constant support of FFA, and the Washington County Fair. Explaining to customers why A to Z Quality Fencing truly was the pinnacle of quality.
It's why I've always loved telling stories. Instead of a yearly scrapbook, I direct, produce, edit, and post-produce my own family and friends bi-annual “Chopped” competition. Using our favorite cooking show as the format to document an exciting story with the ones I love most.
It's why I show up every day, ready to tell the next story. Whatever the brand, whatever the medium, I believe in the power of authentic storytelling to build something real. Ever more prevalent in an age where relying on AI can make brands appear out of touch, or producing marketing that does not connect.
